Rhonda Ascierto, Research Director for the Datacenter Technologies and
Eco-Efficient IT Channel, 451 Research

Rhonda Ascierto is a Research Director for the Datacenter Technologies and Eco-Efficient IT Channel at 451 Research. Rhonda focuses on datacenter innovation and energy management in datacenters and across the enterprise. She also covers technologies that enable the efficient use of all resources and help to minimize the environmental impact of business activity. Rhonda has been analyzing the crossroads of IT and business for more than 15 years.

Before joining 451 Research, Rhonda was a senior analyst in energy and sustainability IT at Ovum. Previously, she had a successful career as an IT reporter and editor, mostly in Silicon Valley, at a number of well-known publications.


Jose M. Rivera, Chief Executive Officer, Control System Integrators Association (CSIA )
Mr. Rivera has held a successful global career in the automation industry working in six countries, most often with a regional or global role.

In his current role as CEO of the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA), which he has held since March 2015, Mr. Rivera has worked to elevate the level of the system integration industry by broadening the adoption of the associations’ “Best Practices” that help independent system integrators build better companies.

During his tenure as Senior Vice President Strategy and Communications, Industry Business at Schneider Electric in France, Mr. Rivera realigned the automation business along the overall company energy efficiency direction. He crafted and executed the strategy to penetrate the process automation market, first through an alliance with a leading process automation supplier, later through the acquisition of Invensys plc in 2014.

Prior to Schneider Electric Mr. Rivera had an 11-year career at Emerson Electric in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Puerto Rico, involving product line, general and regional sales management roles for the process automation market. Mr. Rivera started his career as a sales engineer with Siemens in Costa Rica with later assignments in Germany.

Jose holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and a Lic (MS) and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Costa Rica. He is fluent in Spanish, English, German, with a basic level of French.


Scott M. Brown, Vice President of Technology, Global Communications, General Cable
Scott is the Global Technology & Product Development leader for the Communications business at General Cable. His responsibilities include leading the global design and development activities related to copper communications, fiber optic, electronics and telecommunications products. In addition, Scott also leads the North American Fiber Optic business.

Scott has over 23 years of experience in the wire and cable industry and has held various roles in design and development, manufacturing and product management. He has participated and led key innovations in the wire and cable industry and holds numerous patents related to cable design. Scott is located in General Cable’s global headquarters in Highland Heights, KY.


Jim Davis, Regional Marketing Engineer, Fluke Networks
Jim Davis has been working in the cabling industry for over 20 years. For the last 17 years he has worked at Fluke Networks, most recently as Regional Engineering Manager. Prior to that Jim worked in the Latin American Sales organization.

Jim has worked on International Cabling Standards Committees and is a frequent speaker at trade shows such as Bicsi, Netcomm and manufacturer’s conferences. Jim has participated in the Panduit Global Systems Integrator Conference 15 times and takes great pride in the close relationship between Panduit and Fluke Networks.

Jim’s objective is to bring the experience of the Industry, the Market and the Lab to you and present it in way that the common user can understand.


Matt Fordenwalt, Global Business Director for Connected Services, Rockwell Automation
Matthew Fordenwalt is the Global Business Director for Connected Services at Rockwell Automation. He is responsible for service offerings that support and enable the Connected Enterprise by leveraging domain expertise, intelligent devices and the internet of things.

He joined Rockwell Automation in 2005 as one of the first employees hired to help lead Rockwell’s own Connected Enterprise journey. Prior to joining Rockwell Automation, Matt worked at W.W. Grainger and Accenture leading business transformation programs across multiple vertical segments. He draws upon his broad industry, IT/OT technology and service experience to holistically address customer challenges.

Matt holds a BS in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and an MBA from Lake Forest. He currently lives in Ohio with his wife and two sons.


Qiang Huang, Sr. Director of Production Management, Cisco IoT Group
Qiang Huang is the Sr. Director of product management in Cisco’s IoT Vertical Solution Group, partnering with ecosystem partners to deliver validated solutions across key industries including manufacturing, utility, oil and gas, transportations, and commercial building. An 18-year Cisco veteran, Qiang has comprehensive experience in a wide range of network technologies from R&S, security, data center, mobility and recently IoT. Qiang received his Masters degree of E.E from Colorado State University. He is the author of the book “SSL Remote Access VPN”


Rob Tully, RCDD - Vice President of Communications Sales, North America, General Cable
Rob is the Vice President of Communications Sales at General Cable. He manages our North American team and is responsible for driving the strategy on PanGen® solutions and low-voltage cabling. Rob draws on 30 years of experience in the Datacom and Electrical industries.

Rob joined General Cable in 2004 and has played an integral role in the formation of our Panduit and General Cable partnership. Prior to General Cable, he was the principle of IP Impact Partners Inc., Vice President of Tully Electric Ltd., and held specialized sales positions within the ITS industry in Los Angeles and Seattle. He holds a BA in Business Economics from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) and lives in Indianapolis with his wife and two children.


Tom Donovan, President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Panduit, Tom Donovan is responsible for defining strategy, driving execution toward that strategy as well as developing current and long-range objectives, policies and procedures. Tom joined Panduit in 1982 and was named President and Chief Executive Officer in August of 2015.

In his previous role, Tom served as President and Chief Operating Officer, leading the company’s operational performance and implementing key strategies and systems. Prior to this role, Tom was Group Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing. In this position, he drove and implemented a global business platform to meet the needs of customers in new geographies and in key vertical and emerging markets.

Tom envisions Panduit as a global growth company of strong people with common values and shared objectives that execute with financial discipline and innovation to strengthen our leadership business. “My management philosophy is simple: Do the right thing, utilize teamwork, have a positive attitude, and always seek first to understand,” Tom says.

Tom is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also has an MBA in Industrial Management. Tom is located at Panduit’s world headquarters in Tinley Park, Illinois.


Mark Fondl, Director, Sales Strategy and Enablement, Industrial Automation Infrastructure
Mark Fondl is the Director of Business Development at Panduit Corp, a global leader in network and electrical infrastructure solutions based in Tinley Park, Illinois.

In this position Mark provides leadership for aligning Panduit resources to address the Industrial Automation market. Responsibilities include Customer Interactions, Go-To-Market strategies, Channel/Partner enablement programs, new solution requirements.

Mark has 40 years of experience in Sales and Product development for Industrial Automation and the Manufacturing Market. His background includes software development to include IntraVUE™, acquired by Panduit in 2015 as well as leadership positions with Schneider Electric, Siemens and Texas Instruments.


Steve Luczkiw, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing
Steve brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent over two decades in sales, sales management, marketing and business development leadership positions. Steve is responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing functions at Corporate, which also include Customer Service and Pricing. His role is to support the Business units and regions across the globe in executing the goals and objectives being set.

Steve joined Panduit in 1997 and his first position was as Export Manager focusing on the emerging markets. For a year he was based out of Warsaw. Since then he has held several senior posts including Marketing Director, VP Sales EMEA and VP Business Development. And most recently he was the Global Vice President for Strategic Channels responsible for developing and implementing the channel strategy and partner program worldwide.

Prior to joining Panduit he worked for 12 years at BICC where he was responsible for international Sales and Business Development of which 4 years were spent living in Italy. Steve speaks fluent Italian and Ukrainian. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Kingston University London. Steve is based at Panduit’s EMEA HQ offices in London.


Marc Naese, Vice President, Data Center Business
Marc Naese was appointed Vice President of Panduit’s Data Center Business unit in September, 2015. The Data Center Business unit delivers a comprehensive suite of offerings that leverage rich technology partnerships and Panduit’s data center converged infrastructure portfolio. Marc provides leadership and oversight of a dynamic team that is responsible for developing the global data center business strategy, vision and execution of all key strategic initiatives across this functional business area. He is also a member of Panduit’s Executive Leadership Team.

In Marc’s previous role as Senior Vice President of Information Technology, he was responsible for the company’s IT vision including technology innovation, software delivery & support, network communications, and IT infrastructure & operations. Marc joined Panduit in 2006 as the Data Center Solutions Development Manager applying over eight years of IT industry experience to the Panduit data center solution offering.

Throughout Marc’s ten years at Panduit, he has played a critical role in the company’s technology strategy by researching and implementing leading edge technologies that provide competitive differentiation for Panduit in the markets the company serves. One example is his contribution to the company’s global collaboration capabilities through an improved unified communications infrastructure. Marc’s vision for Panduit is to enhance the company’s customer experience through technology innovation that differentiates Panduit from its competitors and drives growth opportunities. “My management philosophy is to provide leadership and enable change to continuously move our organization forward while enabling new opportunities for our employees to grow and develop,” said Marc.

Marc holds a degree in business management from Eastern Illinois University and a MBA from Olivet Nazarene University. Marc has actively participated and presented to audiences at various industry events such as the Gartner Data Center Summit, Data Center Sustainability Summit, AFCOM, and Data Center Dynamics. He has also been a key contributor to industry publications and webinars such as Security Executive magazine, Cabling Installation & Maintenance, tmcnet, and Some of his hobbies include golfing and marine aquaria. He is located in Panduit’s world headquarters in Tinley Park, Illinois.


Dennis Renaud, Vice President, Enterprise Business
Dennis is responsible for setting the strategy, revenue, and profit growth for Panduit’s Enterprise Business, globally. Previously at Panduit, Dennis was the VP of Global Datacom Product Management & Engineering, and has worked at Panduit for 4 years.

Prior to Panduit, Dennis has worked for 28 years with AMP/Tyco Electronics holding positons in Business Unit Management, Marketing, Product Management, and Sales Management. His last positon there was the VP of Americas Channel Business Unit and previously VP of Global Product Management, Americas Computer and Communications BU, and Asia Pacific Communications BU.
